Welcome to the Anixter Components eCommerce Website.

We have made every effort to make this site as user-friendly as possible. However, below you will find answers to a number of frequently asked questions.

Can I order without pre-registering?
You do need to register with us as part of the ordering process. However, once you have completed the form you will be taken through to the Check out screen where you can complete your order. Confirmation of your registration will be sent to you by email. Please keep a note of your username and password that are detailed on the registration email as you can use them to login in future.

How do I order using my existing account?
If you would like to use your existing account, we can arrange this for you. We will need to connect your registration to your account on our system. To help speed up the process we first ask that you register in the normal way by completing the online registration form. Please click on the "REGISTER NOW" link on the right-hand side of the screen. Complete the form as required and click "Register". When you receive the confirmation email your registration will be complete. If you require your registration to be completed urgently, please contact us on +44(0) 1202 865222 once you have completed and sent the registration form.


What can I do if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, simply follow the "Forgotten Password" link in the LOGIN panel on the right hand side of the screen and complete the form. Your details will be emailed back to you immediately.


If I have special prices agreed with Anixter Components, will I see these online?
Yes. When you are registered and connected to your Anixter Components account, the prices shown will be your agreed prices.


How do I order a sample part?
You can order a sample in 2 ways:
1. Navigate to the part in question. Under the heading "SAMPLE AVAILBLE" select the quantity required (up to 5 parts) and click "TRY". The part will be added to your basket as a FOC sample request.

2. At the Shopping Basket screen you can enter the part number in the "Add Product" field, select "Try", select the quantity (up to 5 parts) and click "Add Product"..


I am trying to request a sample of a part, but the option to order a sample is not available. Why is this?
We regret that we are unable to offer FOC samples through our online catalogue for high value parts. Therefore, the option to request samples of these parts will not be available. However, please call our Customer Services to discuss your particular requirements.


How do I download a 3D CAD file?
To find the CAD file, firstly navigate to the part you require. You will then see a "Download 3D CAD File" icon to the right of the price breaks. Click this link to start the download process.


I cannot see a CAD file logo for a particular part. Why is this?
If cannot see the CAD file logo, then we do not have a 3D part available for the part in question. It may be possible for us to model the part for you, so please give us a call on +44(0)1202 865222 to discuss your requirements.
